The Hill-Top Creative Arts Foundation has announced the shortlist of the 2024 AS Abugi National Prize for Short Story:
In a statement published online, the foundation earlier stated that it had received dozens of submissions from budding writers all over the country.

The final winner stands to receive N100,000.
Alkasim Abdulkadir, a renowned arts aficionado, first conceived the Abugi Annual Prize for Short Story to immortalize his father Abdukadir Abugi, and preserve his legacy of using creative arts to spread peace and love.
It is expected the final winner of the competition will be announced soon.
