The Management of the Chad Basin Development Authority (CBDA), led by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Alhaji Tijjani Musa Tumsah, alongside the Board Chairman, Professor Abdu Dauda, paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, CON, FNSE, MNI, Governor of Borno State.
The visit, held on Saturday, 26th April 2025, aimed to explore avenues for collaboration between the CBDA and the Borno State Government. This engagement reflects the Authority’s steadfast commitment to aligning its activities with the developmental aspirations of the state.
His Excellency, Governor Zulum, received the CBDA delegation warmly and expressed a strong willingness to deepen cooperation. Discussions during the meeting centred on identifying key areas for joint initiatives that would drive sustainable development, enhance livelihoods, and promote regional growth.
The key outcomes anticipated from the engagement include:
