The embassy of the State of Qatar in Abuja has clarified that Business Investment Forum during Tinubu’s state visit to the country on 2nd March, 2023.
The president is expected to discuss how the two countries that are both endowed with huge Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) reserves can work together to develop Nigeria’s fast growing oil and gas sector as well as other strategic partnerships that can serve the interests of the two countries.
Daily Reviews also gathers that the visit is organized by Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs under Yusuf Maitama Tuggar.
It could be recalled that the 4D foreign policy under President Tinubu intends to focus on development and other strategic goals that can better assert Nigerian interests on the global stage.
Many experts also see the visit as an opportunity for Nigeria to further voice its support for the State of Qatar that is working behind the scene to resolve the conflict between Palestinians and Israel.
Nigeria reiterates its position that only two-state solution can resolve the decades-old conflict that continues to claim lives of innocent people from both sides.
