President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed seven executive directors for the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
Mr. Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy) announced this in a statement Friday.
According to Onanuga, those appointed by President Tinubu are: Ayo Adewuyi, reappointed as Executive Director, News; Bar. Ibrahim Aliyu , Executive Director, Special Duties – Legal Practitioner and Malam Muhammed Fatuhu Mustapha — Executive Director, Administration and Training
Others appointed include Mrs Apinke Effiong, Executive Director, Finance who is an expert in financial marketing with treasury, management accounting and reporting skills; and Mrs Tari Taylaur– Executive Director, Programme. An audio/visual creator, producer and showrunner.
Also appointed are Mr Sadique Musa Omeiza, Executive Director, Engineering and Mrs Oluwakemi Fashina – Executive Director, Marketing, renowned for being an integrated marketing communications professional and chartered marketer.
The appointments take immediate effect, Onanuga said.
President Tinubu urged the appointees to bring their wealth of experience to bear on the operations of the national broadcast station, particularly in scaling up to meet global digital standards.
