A new alliance? Atiku/Obi posters flood Bauchi city, Labour Party kicks

Daily Review: The Bauchi State Chapter of the Labour party has distanced itself from Posters circulating in the public indicating its presidential candidate has stepped down on his quest to be Nigeria’s president in 2023 by working for Atiku. In a press conference held today at the party Secretariat in Bauchi town, the state chairman Barr. Lawal Hussaini denied such moves and condemned such act of provocation and urged all labour party faithfuls and OBI-dients to ensure they deliver their polling unit, to wards and respective Local Governments to Peter Obi to ensure Victory at the polls. The chairman spoke through the Bauchi south zonal chairman Joshua Sunday debunked the story of Obi returning to the PDP, he stated that the Labour Party presidential candidate is the candidate for all Nigerians.

In a press statement released by the office of the State Publicity Secretary and made available to newsmakers titled ” The Last Kick Of The Dying Horse” the state Publicity Secretary Mr. Kushi Libi Isaac denied such moves and reiterated their commitment to ensure Mr. Peter Obi wins the forthcoming general elections and remains the presidential candidate of the Labour Party and in no time did he or planning to defect to the PDP citing the electoral act doe not permit merger at this time around and no form of any alliance with any party and such only remains a wishful thinking of the detractors.
