A Federal High Court in Abuja has nullified a governorship primary election organized by APC in Taraba State.
According to the BBC Hausa, a presiding judge, Obiora Egwatu said the mounting evidence presented to the court proved beyond reasonable doubt that the primary election conducted on 26th May, 2023 which produced Senator Emmanuel Bwacha as the governorship candidate of the APC in Taraba was null and void.
Last month, a court sitting in Jalingo nullified the primary election that produced Mr. Bwacha as the party’s governorship candidate after an aspirant challenged the process that produced Emmanuel Bwacha as the party’s candidate.
The two separate rulings all order the APC to conduct a fresh primary election in the state.
