Must read

The “unconscionable” cuts to aid will have “devastating” consequences on the 730,000 mostly Muslim Rohingya who fled to Bangladesh in 2017 – a move which highlights “the limits of [the donor community’s] commitment,” charity heads said in a statement.

The funding shortfall is a result of the pandemic, economic downturn and other global crises, the WFP said.
